About Sterling Fish Camp
About Me
I, Jordan have been coming to AK to work at the Russian River Ferry since the summer of 2011 and then began guiding in 2017 on the Kenai River in Cooper Landing, AK. I have completed the Kenai River Guide Academy, obtained my Masters license through the US Coast Guard, completed my swift water rescue training, and have my first aid/CPR up to date. I value being able to spend the summers doing what I love, along with making the best memories for my customers. My family and I live in IL during the winter and AK during the summer, but you can always get ahold of us by phone or email.
What I Offer
I currently offer full or half day fishing or scenic trips on the Upper/Middle/Lower Kenai. Click on the link for pricing and packages.
Fishing will be for salmon (silver/sockeye), rainbow trout, and dolly varden. Trout and dolly varden will be catch & release, salmon limits vary and will be based off ADFG the day of. Depending when your trip is booked for, will determine where the best spot on the river is to fish at that time. I will suggest a time to start the trip, but if that does not work let me know.
What I Provide
I provide most everything that will be needed for your fishing trip, including waders, rods, and all other fishing gear. YOU will need to bring an AK fishing license, lunch/snacks/drinks, rain jacket, hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. I suggest to wear layers, as you may get cold or hot throughout the day.
